We inform you that, in order to carry out relations with its users, customers and suppliers, VISIA LAB Srl collects the data referred to them, also acquired verbally, directly or through third parties, qualified as “personal data” by Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (so-called “Privacy Code”), by the European Privacy Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and by Legislative Decree no. 101/2018 (Provisions for the adaptation of national legislation to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

The regulations in question provide, first of all, that those who process personal data are required to inform the interested party about what data are processed and about certain elements qualifying the processing, which, in any case, must take place with correctness, lawfulness and transparency, protecting Your Privacy and Your Rights. Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of the GDPR 2016/679, we provide the following information:

Nature of the data processed – We process personal and fiscal data, as well as economic data that are necessary for the performance of relations with members of our company. Generally, we do not process any data that can be qualified as sensitive or of a judicial nature pursuant to art. 4 of GDPR 2016/679; If it becomes necessary to process data of this type, we will request the consent of the interested party in advance.

Purpose of the processing – The data of our users, customers and suppliers are processed to carry out the services requested by them, to achieve the purposes included in their statute, and in relation to contractual requirements and the consequent fulfilment of legal and fiscal obligations, as well as to allow effective management of financial, commercial and administrative relationships. The data will be processed for the entire duration of the relationship and also subsequently, for the fulfilment of legal obligations and for administrative and commercial purposes.

Processing methods – The processing of data takes place through the use of tools and procedures suitable to guarantee its security and confidentiality and can be carried out either using paper media or through the aid of electronic tools.

Navigation data – Log files: the computer systems and applications dedicated to the operation of the website www.visialab.com detect, during their normal operation, some data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols) not associated with directly identifiable Users.

The data collected includes the IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operating system and the IT environment used by the User.

These data are processed, for a strictly necessary time, for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its regular functioning.

Data provided voluntarily by the user – The voluntary and explicit sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated in the various access channels of the website www.visialab.com and the compilation of the specifically prepared “formats” (masks) involve the subsequent acquisition of the address and data of the sender/user, necessary to respond to the requests produced and/or provide the requested service.

Specific summary information will be reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.

Obligation or right to provide data and consequences of any refusal – Regarding the data that we are obliged to know, in order to comply with the obligations provided for by laws, regulations and community legislation, or by provisions issued by Authorities legitimated by law and by supervisory and control bodies, failure to provide them by the member will make it impossible to establish or continue the relationship, to the extent that such data are necessary for the its execution. With regard to data that we are not obliged to know, failure to obtain them will be evaluated by us on a case-by-case basis, and will determine the consequent decisions related to the importance for us of the data requested and not provided by you.

Communication and dissemination – The data we collect from our users, customers and suppliers are not “disseminated” by us, with this term meaning that we make them known to undetermined subjects in any way, including by making them available or consulting them. The personal data of the interested party may instead be “communicated” by us, with this term meaning the disclosure of them to one or more specific subjects, in the following terms:

  • to subjects in charge of processing data within our Structure, and in particular to the employees of the Administration Office;
  • to subjects who can access the data pursuant to legal provisions, or of EU legislation, within the limits provided for by law;
  • to subjects who need to access the data for purposes auxiliary to the existing relationship, within the limits strictly necessary to carry out the auxiliary tasks entrusted to them (e.g. credit institutions and freight forwarders);
  • to our consultants, within the limits necessary to carry out their assignment with us, subject to our letter of appointment imposing the duty of confidentiality and security in the processing of data;
  • to other external parties in their capacity as organizers and partners in institutional activities related to courses, meetings, congresses, and any other event to which the interested party adheres through VISIA LAB Srl.

The rights of the interested party – The interested party may, at any time, exercise the following rights:

  • to access to personal data;
  • to obtain the rectification or deletion of the same or the limitation of the processing concerning him/her;
  • to object to the processing; data portability;
  • to revoke consent, where applicable: the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal;
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Privacy Guarantor).
